Default Canvas Size to 1080
Perhaps a simple change, but the most common resolution we see now has to be 1080p.
Consider changing the default canvas from 1280x720 to 1920x1080.

Remove multiple columns at once
We use 50 or more columns per show and it would be nice to be able to select multiple columns at once and remove them, instead of removing them individually.

Snap timeline length to content
I would like the be able to change the timeline length to end where the last clip ends on the timeline. It is frustrating to have to Find the out timecode of the last clip and then type that into the settings box for everytimeline.
3 votesYou can trim the timeline to the cursor (for the beginning or the end). Click the "setup" button to do so.

Option for Opacity Effect - Include/Exclude Audio Checkbox
I had a need for the visual part of a video to fade away, but have the "long tail" of the audio continue playing until the next cue. Using the Opacity effect, I was able to fade the video, however the audio also faded.
It would be a useful feature to have a checkbox in the Opacity effect to either include or exclude the audio in the effect.

Choose on which board you create an interaction
When we duplicate boards we loose a lot of interactions actions.
It would be great to have the possibility to select on which board the interaction works : Board 1, Board 2, Board 3, All Boards of the project...1 voteUse an "interaction group" in Millumin V4 (or above) to limit the scope of some interactions.

No background fade when using colour picker
When choosing a colour for a colour card and using the picker the whole Millumin window fades making it impossible to pick a colour of something on the preview window.
This makes matching a specific colour from a video to match a super painful process (usually export a screen cap, open that in preview leave it viewable and then switch back to Millumin and eye dropper the preview window).0 votesSince Millumin V4, you can edit the color-card directly in the layer's properties.

Enable 10-bit in YUV mode
At the moment, 10-bit is only available in RGB. Thats a pity because most I/O cards (like Decklink 8K) have limitations when working with RGB.

Browser Interaction via keyboard & mouse
When bringing a browser in to Millumin, sometimes you need to log in or click accept on the page. Currently I don't see any way to do this. Would be great to have an option to enable mouse & keyboard interaction temporarily to get past this

Deactivate autogo layer or action momentarily
Hi When we have very short autogo it's very difficult to work on the column (save current state for example) because we can't stop the action of launching the next column.

allow controls to unfollow transitions and stick with physical control in case of emergency
Hi ,
in ableton we have automations, that we can write then play,
in millumin transitions allow this feature, but in the middle of a transition, it's impossible to take the control back from physical controls that we have set in interaction panel.
For emergency and security reasons it could be great to allow the physical controller and the mouse to take the control over the transition ex for light fixture... cos a show sometimes need the human to take over ...

locking layer to prevent from deleting
hi,
i find it quite "too easy" to delete a whole layer,
we use backspace a lot to delete fixture, clips, boxes and so on,
but sometimes when mistaking we supress a whole layer and cmd+Z solves it
unless you have so much layer that you don't realize it right after
would it be possible to shortcut "delete layer" function with cmd+backsapce?
or even use the locking layer function to prevent suppression of the layer?

import a light plot / copy paste a light layer from one session session to another
Hi,
when working on a show we must always adapt the light scenario to the next stage grill, sometimes the vidéo layers are evolving between different shows, both things independently;
So each time i have to create all the fixture from scratch on the light plot, but it would be great to be able to save a light configuration / plot and load it back into the actual session...
Same with the light layer, it's necessary to be able to copy paste them from one session to another,

J'aimerais pouvoir lancer une colonne par le nom du cue en midi
ce serait bien d'avoir l'option de lancer un que par son nom en midi , présentement, il est seulement possible d'entrer le numéro de colonne. Si après coup on ajoute une colonne, je dois refaire tous mes ces midi... c'est pénible en création.
2 votesYou can use the option "binded" in an "launch column" interaction to always target the same column (whatever you then move it or add columns before).

Master Audio Layer for Simplified Audio Output
Millumin should have the ability to designate a master audio layer in a show file so that when you're playing the same video to multiple outputs, the stereo LR of the playback computer doesn't get a doubled audio output. Alternatively, the ability to mute the audio output of an entire layer should exist, not just on a per clip basis.
1 voteIn Millumin V5, you can mute the whole layer (set the audio-volume to 0%).
However, if you run the same content on several place in your canvases, you should rather use copy-layers. Or a video-routing.

I'd love to run millunode on macOS and run it on either Old. intel Mac mini or better: Mac Mini m1 .

Output display hotkey or keyboard command
Would love a hot key to turn the output display on & off.
I did a show last week where i was mainly the Keynote operator, but also did Millumin backup for a couple sequences form the same computer.
Millumin takes over the output display It takes a couple clicks to get into the "disable screen output" control and a couple clicks to get out of it and back to Keynote. Would love just a hot key or a keyboard command to toggle that external screen control on & off
