No background fade when using colour picker
When choosing a colour for a colour card and using the picker the whole Millumin window fades making it impossible to pick a colour of something on the preview window.
This makes matching a specific colour from a video to match a super painful process (usually export a screen cap, open that in preview leave it viewable and then switch back to Millumin and eye dropper the preview window).

Since Millumin V4, you can edit the color-card directly in the layer's properties.

"In this case, do not edit the color-card from the library : run the color-card in a layer, then edit its properties. This way, you will not have any overlay on the interface. Please note that the overlay you have when you edit the color-card from the library, is made by macOS (because this is a modal popup)."
Ah! I wish this wasn't a modal popup that faded the background then.
The other approach does indeed work and I love the colour picker overall. -

No this isn't fixed/completed in 5.12r. When I go to change a colour card the whole Millumin UI greys - meaning I still can't colour pick a clip directly in Millumin - easy way to confirm - make a colour card, click to change its colour and try to colour pick a black clip (or no clip) on the canvas - you're matched with grey. All you need to remove is the UI dimming when you open the colour card picker.
