We need an option to scrub time across all canvasses in the dashboard. In corporate, sporting, and broadcast environments producers habitually ask to "scrub that back 10/20/30 seconds".

Advanced Soft Edge Blending Controls
I'd like to propose an improvement to Millumin's soft edge blending system.
At the moment, the current soft edge implementation offers only a single adjustment parameter. While this works in some situations, in real-world multi-projector installations it's often difficult to achieve a truly invisible blend because projectors rarely have identical brightness and gamma characteristics.
It would be incredibly useful if Millumin offered more advanced soft edge controls, such as:
- Adjustable blend curve (instead of a fixed curve)
- Custom gamma or power curve adjustment
- Luminance compensation
- Color correction within the blend area
- Separate controls for the left and right side of…

Confirm Before Closing When an Output Is Active
Currently, Millumin only displays a confirmation dialog when closing a project that contains unsaved changes. If the project has already been saved, the application closes immediately without any warning.
It would be helpful to add an optional confirmation dialog when closing Millumin while one or more outputs are active, even if there are no unsaved changes.
This would help prevent accidentally closing the application during rehearsals or live shows, where an active output is still sending content. In these situations, an unintended application quit can immediately interrupt the show.
Suggested behavior:
If there are unsaved changes, keep the current confirmation…

Audio Levels in dB.
I earnestly hope that it becomes possible to adjust the audio volume in dB.
When I work with a lot of audio files and it is important to find a balance in the various volumes together with the sound engineer, it is difficult to understand each other with the volumes in percentages. (example of a classic question: can you lower the audio by one db?) Is it possible to also have a scale in db?

Retrieve column name with OSC
Often times we have shows with dozens of columns that get triggered out of order. It would be helpful to be able to retrieve a random column name via OSC. Presently, only the current playing column name and the next column name are available to retrieve. We use Companion with a number pad to enter the number of the desired column. We then have a GO button to launch that column. Being able to confirm the name of the selected column would be immensely helpful to both the operator and the show caller.

Dashboard Section Naming
The new Dashboard Sections are great! But missing the ability to name each section. It would be very helpful to be able to name these and see the name when the section is collapsed or expanded.
Along with this, the ability to add a secondary column color inside of a section would be helpful as well. I often highlight a column to denote missing media or noting that a column needs updating prior to show. Having column color locked to section removes that functionality.

When a layer is locked, it should not be possible to delete it.

medias fade & crossfade within layer lines in timeline
It would be very useful to be abble to fade and crossfade medias in timelines with no keyframes below but directly in the layer line. (as in any video or audio editor). It also would be very helpful when you have to copy them

midi/osc map import/export
I use external midi tools to create light shows within millumin (as streamdecks, ipad…). create midi interaction for each light is very long and fastidious. Today I have to duplicate my projects to keep it. A "midi/osc/keyboard/ map" save/import option (as modul8 does) would be great !!

embedded segment only
In Millumin, we can embed a timeline into another timeline. But there is no way to select any segment from this embedded timeline. It would be very useful ! Especially to create some loops or dmx timelines (wich can be very messy with all these massive dots lines)

Locking out Millumin with a PIN
Would like to have Millumin running but lockout out with a PIN, so Millumin can still be triggered with Companion (or similar), but no one can edit/make changes with out entering a PIN.

OSC Control for Media Start/Stop Time
Hello,
I’d like to suggest a feature that could improve playback precision when working with OSC control.
Currently, OSC commands allow triggering playback, but it would be very useful if OSC messages could also define explicit start and stop times (in/out points)
For example something like this:
/media/playSegment [startTime] [endTime]This would allow I believe for more precise cueing in live performances and installations, and reduce the need to duplicate media or create multiple trimmed versions of the same file.

AI future to help making a loop
Would be kind of nice to be able to try make a clip that isn't looped, to a loopable clip.
The clip would need to be kind of already there, but not quite.
Such, if you have a flame that goes for some time/seconds, and then goes back to the start and you see a hardcut to the start. Instead, Millumin could try make the end as close to the start as possible, not in realtime, either if it renders it that way or ads it to the end.1 vote -

The ability to tie parameters together so changing one changes all
I have layer A on canvas 1 and layer B on canvas 2, I'd love to be able to tie a parameter like opacity together. That way, I could change opacity on one layer and have it effect the other!
My current workflow is to filter layers, select all, and change the param. But this would open a lot of doors.

Missing UVC settings
There is a growing number of devices supporting the UVC (USB Video Class) standard, primarily capture cards, cameras, and video mixers with USB outputs. These are fantastic, increasingly high quality, and affordable devices that can be successfully used in production. Brands like Elgato, Avmatrix, Osee, and Cinetreak often offer hardware comparable to, or even better than Blackmagic.
The problem arises when trying to use them with Millumin. While Millumin does support UVC devices, it does so in a very basic way. Usually, the only setting available after adding a USB capture card is the resolution. It is impossible to configure…
