I’d like to suggest a feature that could improve playback precision when working with OSC control.

Currently, OSC commands allow triggering playback, but it would be very useful if OSC messages could also define explicit start and stop times (in/out points)

For example something like this:
/media/playSegment [startTime] [endTime]

This would allow I believe for more precise cueing in live performances and installations, and reduce the need to duplicate media or create multiple trimmed versions of the same file.
