Thumbnails for each timeline segment
Generate thumbnails for each segment in a timeline. For example, if a timeline is created with multiple segments containing a solid color, the thumbnail from only the first segment will be the shown for each segment on the dashboard. If the segments contain a solid color for red, green, blue, and yellow, the thumbnail for each segment will be from the first (red) segment. The name of the segment appears in the dashboard. (So you can end up with a red thumbnail image above the green segment name.) Having a unique thumbnail for each segment would be helpful.

DMX Layer works only with video on the column.
It would be cool if "DMX Layer" are working only if there's a video (to control lights) on the column. Therefore, you can play manually it.
Or the ability to have a specific video layer for the dmx layers (lights) and also a "normal video" layer (for outputting on the beamer).
When you have a light AND a DMX Layer with the same adress (same projector), the slider is always back up at zero, even if we don't put video in (detecting black of the canvas). So we can jump to a "scripted lights show" from video and then back…

Please support Orbbec Femto Bolt.
Kinect azure is not produced any more... so I bought an Orbbec Femto Bolt. It works like Kinect azure in Windows. Could you make it work also on Millumin? I guess you only need little change to adapt to Millumin. Please make it work. thank you!

Make it so millunodes are not forgotten in the output when millunodes are quit in remote computers.
Make it so millunodes are not forgotten in the output (Make the last connection the default instead of "This Computer") when millunodes are quit in remote computers. We launch more than 50 computers at the beginning of the day and it becomes time consuming to connect to each of them over the network one by one to tell them to reconnect to the correct display they last connected to that's running millunode.

Make a group of independant layers
I need to be able to run multiple video loops in the dashboad without having to use timelines. one would would be to be able to group independant layers and have them auto follow each other. otherwise allowing multipule dashboards to run at the same time targeting different canvases

Loop Mode Got-to specific column at end of media
in the loop mode dropdown on a media clip, we need an option to goto a specific column. this would allow for multipule 'loops' of media to be run on a single dash board without having to create multipule timelines.

Feature Request: List-Based Interface Similar to PVP
Dear Millumin Team,
I’ve been a long-time user of Millumin, and I deeply appreciate its powerful features and versatility for live video production. However, I would like to suggest a feature that could enhance its usability for certain workflows.
Currently, Millumin's timeline and dashboard are excellent for complex timelines and live control, but for some use cases, a list-based interface—similar to that of ProVideoPlayer (PVP)—would be highly beneficial. Such an interface would allow users to manage and trigger video clips in a straightforward, queue-like manner.
Here’s how I envision it:
1.A simple list of media files that can be arranged…

Variable column titles (for all columns, currently playing or not) as Bitfocus Companion variables
At the moment, the Bitfocus Companion module can pull the editable title of the currently playing column as a Companion variable. In future iterations it would be helpful to add the capability of pulling the editable title of any column (playing or not) as a Companion variable. A specific use case would be in order to auto-populate buttons with the Millumin-specified column titles. Thank you.

two ideas
I often need to dup in show and the dup multi columns feature is too complex. How about using Cmd-D?
also the Time/Cues list could be a pop-up list, selectable without that hard window.

Add Position X / Y on a mask setup
Hello it would be usefull to add Position X & Y to the mask to be able to work as a follow spot.
Actually we can do it by moving the x & y of the layer supporting the mask but when we play also with the scale it result very big resolution for solid color card or medias1 vote -

GATE or Activate Deactivate Interactions
Hello, it would be great to have a gate open / close or in another way a control to activate / deactivate some interactions.
It could be very usefull for example for midi faders to reinitialize them when they are not motorised.2 votes -
Possibility to deactivate a warping without erasing it
Hy, actually when we warp on the output of a Canvas or on a layer, as soon as we deactivate the warping, we can't recover it. It's like a reset.
It's very furstrating on heavy warping to loose the work done.
Is it possible to have a kind of historic warping or simplier with / without ?1 vote -
Dim Disabled Layers
A layer can be disabled by clicking the eye icon next to the layer name, which then changes to an "X".
It would be a nice enhancement (IMHO) if, when not in "Edit Board" mode, the thumbnails were dimmed to reinforce the disabled status.

Display Test Card Option
Currently, Millumin v04 displays a test card based on each individual output's configuration. For projects that use canvases that span output connectors (blended projection or widescreen LED wall shows), having the Display Test Card able to generate a Test Card that reflects the whole canvas as one would be handy for setting up.

Editing existing lights
Hi, it would be great if you could easily edit the lights in Millumin without having to load them onto the open fixture library first. This would allow you to start from existing lights and modify them for your own needs and also avoid making mistakes when creating new lights, which would then affect everyone else. Would that be possible?
Thank you!
