  1. Just like the mouse wheel is used to zoom in and out in a canvas (mimicking the zoom tool available in the bottom right corner), clicking and dragging in the canvas window using the middle mouse button could move around (mimicking the move tool available in the bottom right corner).

  4. I get a lot of Films, where the loudness of each film is different.
Normally i use shutter encoder to make all movies with the same loudness.
It would be nice if millumin to this :-)

  5. With an hole encoded show with "intelligent" lights (OFL), the ability to replace the fixture without loosing all the memories would be very nice.

Currently, changing an OFL fixture type makes loosing all the recorded memories for it and force us to re-enter all, this is a pain when your show have 36 cues :-)

At least, matching "dimmer", "colors" and "positions" channels beetween the current fixture and the new one would be great (the rest is fixture control and is less necessary). With an intelligent conversion beetween 8/16bits and RGBW/CMJ (fixtures don't always use same channels and same bit…

  6. In live events, speeding up or slowing down media clips is quite common.

In at least Millumin 4, a 10s media clip slowed down by 50% will produce a TRT that also slows down by 50% (1s on the countdown will last 2s).

This speed factor is also not reported in the OSC /millumin/layer:name/media/time report. It should be reported.

  7. more often than not, the corner adjustments alone in the blending settings are not enough; the edge can overlap perfectly but the inner lines stay adrift.
having further divisions will help with perfect alignment throughout the blend area

  12. I love the Particle system, it reminds me of Emotion by Adrian M and Claire B. I would love to see this evolve. I have many ideas, here are a few.

    1. It would be really useful if we could import an OBJ for collisions. This would allow us to have particles interact with real-world objects.

    2. Import OBJ emitter, again allowing particles to interact with real-world objects.

    3. Emitter follow a path (like in AE) either over time or from interaction, allowing us to trace real-world objects.

    Thanks for the great feature

  14. It would be helpful to be able to select a thumbnail for a clip. This could either happen in the clip-inspector or by right clicking on the playback process next to the dashboard.

  16. If I click on the columns, the stored position and size changes of the single mefia-level are applied. But if, after selecting a column, I click on a media-layer, it remains with the position and size of the last selected column.
Change transform properties at media-level in Millumin (like in Resolume Arena)

  17. In many cases we need to control the software and some parameters from a Lighting desk so we can sync lights and videos. In this case we need to control more parameters (maybe most of them) from a lighting controller. That also helps on permanent installations.

    See attached PDF.

  18. due to lack of eGPU output port, I have to "disable workspace" everytime launch millumin. it's super hard to get 6 output graphic card due to bitcoin mining rush... I need to use 4 output for show video composition, and 1 for millumin workspace window.

if there is an option "disable workspace automatically at startup", it'll be helpful.
