  2. Moving the canvas previews is great. It would be nice if it were possible to scale them as well.

When you work with LED screens, often your biggest and most important screen is also the one with the lowest resolution. In Millumin, its canvas can be then smaller than the canvas of the preview monitors or the canvas of other, less important screens. It would be great to be able to reduce their size, for example to 1/2, 1/4, or 1/8 of the original size. Then the less important canvases would take up less space and make it easier to…

  8. I'd like to use remaining time to trigger an action. I'd like to launch an audio file that announces "1 minute" when there's 1 minute remaining, then "30 seconds", "20 seconds" and then a 10 second countdown, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, etc..."

Ideally, I'd like to even be able to tap into the timecode over OSC so I can have another app (Octopus) trigger these actions.

  11. The delete key should not delete an entire layer track, it should delete the most recent selection, be it a clip inside a track or a piece of content in the library, or a keyframe on a timeline (possibly also control mapping).

Millumin is amazing and in general intuitive and easy to use, but I have found one major element that sticks out as being a continual source of confusion. When I hit the delete key it always deletes the currently active track layer. I see no reason that this would ever be someones intent.

  12. Millumin 3 features a Text Input and there is an easy way to make the number of lines expand between each column. However, the program does not seem to have any way to make the lines fade in line by line.

In about a month, we are supporting an award show which requires us to change names flexibly and rapidly. For situations like this, a feature to make text animate in on a line-by-line basis would be extremely useful.

  14. for conference situations, its helpful to have a background layer which will stay playing no matter how you control your different columns in the dashboard (if you press "Stop" by mistake)

  15. 1st - The ability to export and import the screen soft edged calibration.

2nd - More advenced options for color, gamma ... correction of the "Softedge" area only - the ability of making a selection for adjusting only the portions of the outputed screens that are overlapping (making color and other adjustments to the whole outputed screen as you can do it now isn't always convenient and you can't blend two beamers in one picture perfectly)

  16. As we can send some control via Osc out of Millumin (opacity, scale...) with the "API Feedback" option, it could be a great idea to send osc message with other parameters (Isf generator, effect...) with custom adress.

  18. Millumin is getting used more and more as an extension to PPT and Keynote for live corporate presentations. IMHO - there are only 2 things preventing it from eventually being fully adopted as a complete replacement to PPT or Keynote:

    1. The ability to select animation presets (glorified macros). For instance, select "move left" and the software automatically creates what is required to accomplish the effect.

    2. The ability to quickly export a presentation to some form of simple PDF that can be distributed for client review.

1 is something I would imagine would likely develop naturally over the product life cycle.

  20. In preference pane, as we can choose % for lights, we could choose dB (dBFS) as the audio unit.
It is much more appropriate for anyone who has an audio background !
