  1. Find Missing Files

    Millumin could check a project for missing files upon File Open. It could offer to reconnect them: list first missing file, offer to look for other missing files in the same folder.

  2. Interpret UDP commands as OSC

    Given that some systems we may with the trigger Millumin with only support sending UDP commands, allow for Millumin to receive simple strings via UDP and interpret these messages as OSC.

    The behavior can be observed in Qlab. A string command sent over UDP to Qlab will be interpreted as an OSC message.

  3. Output time remaining on Video on separate output

    To have the time remaining on a video playback available to put on a separate output later.
    I often give the Showcaller a monitor with a multiviewer showing all vt inputs and camera inputs from a switcher like the blackmagic atem studio HD. I would like to have a separate output from the Mac to only show the time remaining on a video so the operator does not have to count down each video.

  6. Columns as Cues

    Hi!

    I think it would be much easier for theatre work if it was possible to treat the columns as Cues, so that you could program "Fade Up Column 2, fade down column 1" etc etc. Right now i have a lot of work with "Setup automatic transition" inside "Effects" inside "Media / Image" for all media on a column.

    I often use a composition with the layers inside, but then i cannot control the layers inside the composiiton with artnet, osc etc.

    All this is for speed, when a director asks for a different fade time etc.

  7. Slicing with numbers

    In my case, this would be very useful (I could say it's a strong need) in the corporate events markets. It's very common to have prebuilded compositions with a precise "map" of the pixel space of every screen.
    Last example, this week:
    - we had 3 screens, horizontally aligned and separated by a precise space, let's say 100cm.
    - the creative team created an After Effects composition of 5920x1080 (3 Full HD + 80px between the screens, as calculated from the actual projection screens sizes and the 100cm gap) and gave us a movie at this resolution…

  8. send midi feedback data to midi controller

    maybe as initial state (e.g. base color)
    pressed state (e.g. for highlighting rgb color of a button)
    active state (while the connected media is active or part of an active column)
    release state (e.g. media stopped or column is not active anymore)

  12. a way to play the same video in all dashboard layers.

    when i do stage designs i usually map different videos to different surfaces and i like to some time in the performance i could play the same footage to all the surfaces i`ve mapped.

  13. Allow re-sort of Dashboards

    Create a list somewhere in Millumin that allows for easily resorting of the dashboard order. The current behavior seems to be that Millumin will leave the Dashboards in the order they were created, not even alphabetically as the Compositions are.

  16. Option to make layers only visible in desktop but not in output

    Enable an option to make layers visible only in the interface but not in the final output. To have cue keys or messages about next media coming, or simply just notes

  18. GUI Icon display of Loop Mode setting of clip.

    This is a very simple request. It would be good to see what loop mode a clip is set to on the dashboard.
    I recently ran an awards show that didn't need any timelines, just clips on the dashboard. For quite a few cues I had the playback set to auto follow - but when running the rehearsal I found a few I hadn't set properly. Not a major but on another show I had the same 'problem' but could check without fear of clicking off a cue as the show had started.
    This could have been easily spotted if…

  19. lock axis in y and x direction while holding shift.

    lock movement in either x or y position when pressing shift button. if you want to move a layer or mapping handle along x or y axis lock position on this axis by holding down the shift button.
