Bigger numbers displayed in test cards
It is sometimes very difficult to see the numbers in the test cards because they are so small.

Negative shift
Example : when using separate LCD screens side by side to create a big image, there is "empty space" between the plastic surroundings of the LCD screens.
In Millumin output popup, a "negative shift" could take in consideration this "empty space", so the big image would appear as the eye expect it.
0 votesIn Millumin V2, use “advanced layout” in Output popup.

Allow re-sort of Dashboards
Create a list somewhere in Millumin that allows for easily resorting of the dashboard order. The current behavior seems to be that Millumin will leave the Dashboards in the order they were created, not even alphabetically as the Compositions are.
17 votesHi. We implemented this in Millumin V2.

Add DMX channel for changing Dashboard
Complicated shows may require more than one dashboard. It would be great if a lighting console could select which dashboard to use.

Blackmagic output
Instead of using a mini-application to output on Blackmagic card (such as UltraStudio Mini Monitor), making it possible directly in Output popup of Millumin.

Need Horizontal Scrolling of Composition Tabs
With more than about 12 compositions it becomes very difficult to navigate. It would be good to have Millumin slide the compositions tab to include the tab of the composition you are working on if it is in the drop down list. Or maybe there can be a horizontal scroll bar there. Also, it would be good to have keystroke for editing/viewing next and previous composition.
4 votesHi. In Millumin V2, the timelines tabs can be rearranged or closed. Other improvements have been added to help the navigation.

Find Missing Files
Millumin could check a project for missing files upon File Open. It could offer to reconnect them: list first missing file, offer to look for other missing files in the same folder.
20 votesHi. This feature is now available in latest Millumin V3 version : http://millum.in/notes
(for info, when loading a project, Millumin looks for missing files in subfolders)

layer conditions & animations
- a possibility to store different settings of a layer (position, opacitiy, size, etc.)
- a possibility to animate these parameters by switching from one settings state to another.
useful for animated toggling between fullscreen and PiP, etc.
4 votesHi. We implemenetd this in Millumin V2.

work with columns
I see this as one idea because it speeds up work with columns:
* group columns to a sequence
* rearrange columns/sequence by drag 'n drop and/or shortcut
* access a sequence from controllers like a column with each column inside a sequence beeing a pause cue point3 votesColumn can be rearranged by drag-and-drop in latest beta (so outside the “official” channel, but it will be soon).
More info : http://blog.anomes.com/post/155759980147/new-features-for-lights-electronics-monitorTo group columns : simply create a different board.
To change the board via a remote control : you can do so via our API OSC (where you can control almost anything).
See https://github.com/anome/millumin-dev-kit/wiki/OSC-documentation -
Ability to set loop, free run and play once at clips in the timeline.
Ability to set loop, free run or play once at every individual clip in the timeline. When the play indicator hit a pause cue-point you can decide if the clip should freeze or just keep on playing and/or looping.
25 votesHi. We implemented a similar system in Millumin V2. Not exactly the same, but one that aims to solve this kind of problem more widely.

Auto-follow : a link option between columns
For example when the clip in layer 3 is finished, then goes to the next column.

More user friendly Column area.
It would be good to have a more user friendly dashboard for creating projects - drag and dropping of layers and columns especially. Currently you have to go into 'edit board' to do this and it feels a bit clunky.
My thoughts are that the dashboard should be setup with two modes - editor & playback. I know Millumin has the edit board button but maybe this should possibly be the default mode to display - especially on new projects.
In this mode you should still be able to still do basic playback but at the same time drag and…
