Video playback speed control
Millumin is perfect for interaction with live elements like theatre and dance, but there is no master speed control, and as we know actora and musicians are not robots, so they change their tempo every night.
We need a smooth speed control that can be mapped to a midi controller.
This can be achieved by midimapping the speed of each clip, but that is very clumsy and only affects each cell and not an enitre column.
Thanks!

Hours Field / milliseconds in frames - Timeline Setup
It would be great to have an hours field on the timeline setup page rather than having to convert hours to minutes to get a long timeline. Particularly when I am chasing timecode and need to start at 18 hours in.
Could the milliseconds field also be converted to frames?

Improve column descriptions
Currently, the column description is only visible when the column is active – which is not very practical.
Visible column notes would be very helpful durring events with many columns.
I suggest making the column description always visible as, for example, a tooltip.
Descriptions visibility could be toggled with a button or checkbox in settings.
See example: https://imgur.com/a/ifSpRZWAlternatively, I propose adding a generic input type such as a "Note", which would do nothing except display text on itself in the dashboard. A few lines of text should fit within a small rectangular area.

Create light state presets
Be able to create light state presets (or palette) so if there are light states appearing several times in a dashboard you can recall them to light and if needed to be modified, only modify the preset

Timecode Clips should only start playing when timecode is received
When a clip is set to chase timecode it shouldn't be able to freerun when clicked. Instead if clicked it would show the first frame until timecode was received to trigger it.

Remember display fps and disable workspace at project reopen
I know it's just two clicks user side but it would be nice for millumin to remember within the .millumin file the states of "display fps" and "disable workspace".

Notes, update dynamic message via OSC
It would be useful to add the ability to dynamically update the messages in "notes" via OSC.
Like this mock-up :https://i.ibb.co/266b3RV/1.jpg
Adding simple graphics would be nice too.

delete warp points in mapping
Delete warp points in mapping. It would be great if you could warp a layer in the mapping and then go in and delete all your unused points from the middle, that way your layer wouldn't distort through all those unused center points.

Automation curves in addition to keyframes
keyframes are fine but the curves are very helpful when automating and quickly see what is happening, because when you look only see diamonds and do not know which values have.

Separate window for TimePanel
display Elapsed or remaining time in a separate window with options to display Info ( Color , Background, Font Size , position and even a Clock)
That could be very useful when you are running a show to have this window displayed on a separate monitor and share it with all the team working on a project )12 votes -
Crossfade between loops
I know that it’s possible between videos at the same layer, but not between the loops of the same video. It will help me a lot!
Thanks!

Feature Request: List-Based Interface Similar to PVP
Dear Millumin Team,
I’ve been a long-time user of Millumin, and I deeply appreciate its powerful features and versatility for live video production. However, I would like to suggest a feature that could enhance its usability for certain workflows.
Currently, Millumin's timeline and dashboard are excellent for complex timelines and live control, but for some use cases, a list-based interface—similar to that of ProVideoPlayer (PVP)—would be highly beneficial. Such an interface would allow users to manage and trigger video clips in a straightforward, queue-like manner.
Here’s how I envision it:
1.A simple list of media files that can be arranged and played sequentially or individually, without needing to use layers or complex dashboards.
- Quick reordering of media clips directly within the list.
3.A toggle option to switch between the current interface and the list-based interface, catering to different user preferences and needs.
This feature could make Millumin more versatile, especially for users who often work with simple video playback systems or are transitioning from PVP-like environments.
Thank you for continuously improving this fantastic tool. I hope you consider this suggestion, as it could greatly benefit the community.
Looking forward to your feedback!

Self fade transition for bad loops
If i have a bad loop that 'snaps' or 'flashes' at its loop point, it would be great if the file auto faded back to itself. this is actually a feature of PVP2 that i always loved and would be great to have in Milli.

activate interactions in scenes (make sensors inactive on a certain point)
When you create an interaction it's being active in you're whole show.
When you use different sensors in a complex show to trigger video, lights, you want to deactivate sensors to prevent that they trigger in a scene that you don't want them to.
For example I trigger a light with my voice but I only want this to happen in the first part of my show.
This would be a fantastic change and this could give us the opportunity to make much more complex shows!11 votes -
