Possibility to deactivate a warping without erasing it
Hy, actually when we warp on the output of a Canvas or on a layer, as soon as we deactivate the warping, we can't recover it. It's like a reset.
It's very furstrating on heavy warping to loose the work done.
Is it possible to have a kind of historic warping or simplier with / without ?3 votes -
possibility to change blend mode (layer) with a midi or OSC command

Variable column titles (for all columns, currently playing or not) as Bitfocus Companion variables
At the moment, the Bitfocus Companion module can pull the editable title of the currently playing column as a Companion variable. In future iterations it would be helpful to add the capability of pulling the editable title of any column (playing or not) as a Companion variable. A specific use case would be in order to auto-populate buttons with the Millumin-specified column titles. Thank you.

Please support Orbbec Femto Bolt.
Kinect azure is not produced any more... so I bought an Orbbec Femto Bolt. It works like Kinect azure in Windows. Could you make it work also on Millumin? I guess you only need little change to adapt to Millumin. Please make it work. thank you!

Thumbnails for each timeline segment
Generate thumbnails for each segment in a timeline. For example, if a timeline is created with multiple segments containing a solid color, the thumbnail from only the first segment will be the shown for each segment on the dashboard. If the segments contain a solid color for red, green, blue, and yellow, the thumbnail for each segment will be from the first (red) segment. The name of the segment appears in the dashboard. (So you can end up with a red thumbnail image above the green segment name.) Having a unique thumbnail for each segment would be helpful.

Generic serial device
Would be really cool to have a generic serial device output. Would be really nice if I could send bytes over serial devices like the Waveshare converters. It could work in a similar way to the network string sender. Also handy for controlling some SDI cameras as well as being able to control projectors that don't have network control.
In my case, I'm updating a bunch of vacuum fluorescent character displays over RS485 in an art installation, and currently I have to have MaxMSP as an intermediary. Would be great to do it directly from Millumin.

last frame in timeline
Hi,
I’m using Millumin 5 and I need to freeze the last frame of a video on a timeline layer, but without stopping the timeline or affecting other layers that are still playing (such as audio or other videos).
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Using segments with "Once (freeze)" → this freezes the whole timeline, which isn’t helpful since I need other layers to keep playing.
Embedding the video in a secondary timeline → the media disappears once it ends.
Exporting the last frame as an image → possible, but it doesn’t match the video gamma and requires color correction.
Exporting from After Effects with extra freeze tail → works, but adds unnecessary file size.
None of these are clean or efficient solutions.
What’s missing is a native way to keep the last frame of a clip visible after playback ends, without looping or cutting out. This would be extremely useful in live shows or timed sequences where a video must "freeze" naturally without affecting the rest of the composition.
Any workaround I missed? Otherwise, please consider this as a feature request.
Thanks.

Fade in & out with different duration
Hello in V5 we have more flexibility on transition but it would be appreciate to have the choice to tune the fade out of a column on a different value of the fade in of the next column.
I know I can do that in the timeline or by adjusting different values on several columns with autogo but for the efficiency, it would be great for me.3 votes -
OSC file name
I would like to be able to Output the filename that is currently playing. Browsing the OSC documentation, the only "name" I see is the column name but I would like to be able to display the file as a confirmation.
Use-case: We're getting constant re-renders, video updates with minor changes being tracked in the folder but Showcaller would like confirmation the operator played the most up to date file. I could then create an overlay in the multi-view with the countdown, TRT, and the currently playing file name which isn't reliant on my updating the column name.

suggestion for multi-monitor interface Flexibility
First of all, really enjoy working with Millumin - the interface is intuitive and well-designed. One thing I would love to see improved is the flexibility of the workspace across multiple monitors.
At the moment, it seems I can only move certain parts of the interface ( such as the dashboard or a single timeline layer) to another screen, but not arrange the full workspace more freely. For a smoother Workflow, it would be extremely helpful if elements like timelines, dashboards, or even outputs could be undocked and places on separate monitors as needed.
Maybe this feature already exists and i just haven't found it yet, but if not, i think it could make a big difference for users working in complex show environments.
Best regards,

Navigating through segments
I found timelines and segments very usefull to build a bank of setups, but it becomes very uneasy to navigate through them when there's more than 10, each with very diffferent durations…
it would be great to have something like a popup menu to put the cursor at the beginning of a chosen one.
in the same way : when double-clicking on a segment in a board, the timeline could be opened with the cursor at the beginning of it !
and speaking of timelines : is it possible to duplicate one ?…

Audio Meters
Would love to see audio meters back in Millumin, this can be in the Workspace or Dashboard, maybe to the right of time remaining.

Missing UVC settings
There is a growing number of devices supporting the UVC (USB Video Class) standard, primarily capture cards, cameras, and video mixers with USB outputs. These are fantastic, increasingly high quality, and affordable devices that can be successfully used in production. Brands like Elgato, Avmatrix, Osee, and Cinetreak often offer hardware comparable to, or even better than Blackmagic.
The problem arises when trying to use them with Millumin. While Millumin does support UVC devices, it does so in a very basic way. Usually, the only setting available after adding a USB capture card is the resolution. It is impossible to configure the signal format or frame rate, even if the hardware supports these settings. Interestingly, the free OBS Studio handles this perfectly. Using the same device on the same Mac, OBS provides access to all the settings available for the connected hardware.
Example:
The Elgato Game Capture 4K X can capture 4K50 in YUY2 8-bit 4:2:2 format. However, Millumin forces it into a compressed MJPEG format, resulting in visible compression artifacts and higher latency. There is no way to change this within Millumin.
The current workaround is to launch OBS briefly and configure the capture card there. Once OBS is closed, the card continues to work correctly in Millumin until the software is restarted.Having the ability to manually set UVC device parameters and save them within the project would be extremely helpful.

OSC Command to Return a List of All Columns
Would love to be able to query Millumin for a list of all columns, so an external control interface can validate or present columns to a user.

The ability to tie parameters together so changing one changes all
I have layer A on canvas 1 and layer B on canvas 2, I'd love to be able to tie a parameter like opacity together. That way, I could change opacity on one layer and have it effect the other!
My current workflow is to filter layers, select all, and change the param. But this would open a lot of doors.

embedded segment only
In Millumin, we can embed a timeline into another timeline. But there is no way to select any segment from this embedded timeline. It would be very useful ! Especially to create some loops or dmx timelines (wich can be very messy with all these massive dots lines)
