If you put a crop before an alpha Edge, it should blend the croped part, not the original image.

A "play previous column" button
There is the "play next column" button, but it could be safer to get the contrary in case of mistake.

Save project as a default project
Save project with current settings as a default project so that new project has similar output, window and timeline settings etc.

Effects affecting only videoclip
Is it possible to add a feature where you can choose if the applyed effect will affetc the entire layer or only the video clip?

You can already add an effect on on a particular media : just open the “Media” tab in properties panel (on the right) and click on the “gear” icon.

Current position of the videos when you play in the Dashboard
Is impossible to see the time and the position of the videos in the dashboard. Only with a minimal progress bar is good!! ;)))

You can see the progress bar and the elapsed/remaning time, by opening the right-panel in the dashboard.

An option to remove all empty or unused columns.
When you open a new project it has 20 columns setup. It would be much better to have only a few there by default or make it quicker at removing any you don't need.
I often only use 2 or 3 columns for playback but then am forced to manually delete each individual unnecessary column. It seems counter productive and can be time consuming.
Another option could be to have a preference to 'ignore empty columns when cycling'.1 vote -

Add DMX channel for changing Dashboard
Complicated shows may require more than one dashboard. It would be great if a lighting console could select which dashboard to use.

It is sometimes very difficult to see the numbers in the test cards because they are so small.

Mapping - Viewing crosshairs and points
It would be great if you were able to toggle on the full grid and points for mapping not just the outside lines. It would making aligning content much faster. Thanks

Replace/swap clip in composition timeline.
Would nice to be able to replace/swap a clip in the timeline instead of having to delete it and then add a new one, especialy with tight timings. Maybe with the option to match existing clip length or expand/bump timeline to match new clip.

control playback speed / pause of a layer with a midi/osc controller
it would be great if there was an control for pauseing or speed controling the active cell of layer with one control.
or the possibility to control the pause button of the actual played object of an layer (as it appears in the live preview window).
