Spare control
Ability to control a spare computer during shows : same Millumin project opened on 2 computers linked via RJ45, each cue on the main project would trigger the spare one.

Media Source effect Copy to Paste Other Media Source.
We adjust the media source effect in real time in the theater,
But after adjusting the effect in the media source rather than copying the layer effect,
It is difficult to copy the same effect value to another media source.
Go in and enter the value.
To get rid of this hassle, it would be nice if there was a way to copy and paste the effect of the media source.
Also, it would be nice if it could be done with a MIDI controller instead of a keyboard and mouse.21 votes -
AMP over Ethernet for playback control from External
Add AMP or Odetics machine control for "next/previous/play/stop" control to allow for broadcast video switchers to trigger playback. This feature would make Millumin a powerhouse for touring and broadcast video playback.

interaction panel : better defaults for light fixture
hi,
when you map a fixture intensity to touchosc,
you have to click on the fixture
then on the intensity box
then on the touch osc controller
then tick on the feedback box
then on the linear transformerwhen you use backspace to change the osc controller of
a fixture, everything has to be done again so that for a 100 projectors it makes a lot of actions...Could we default:
- intensity box as already selected when you select a fixture while interaction panel open
- feedback to be on ( usually osc needs it and some who don't…1 vote -
show dmx status even when device is unplugged/offline
Hi
with artnet it's possible to work on the light layer when the device is not plugged in,
but with dmx /usb devices,
the fixtures are frozen and don't show any status so it's quite impossible to work offline and prepare the light show without the interface plugged in,
could it be possible to let us wok offline and indicate the device is not plugged in?

Faster Light fixture addressing (Light fixture wizard)
Instead of having to add light fixtures 1 by 1 and edit dmx addresses 1 by 1, it would be handy to be able to select a light fixture from a list (ie. generic or intensity based), enter how many are needed, and then be able to cascade the DMX address based on the address offset.
for example:
1)Be able Create 30 ParCans at once named ParCan 1-30
2)With the range of ParCans selected, change the DMX start address of ParCan to 201
3)After the DMX address has been changed, have the option tossing the following channels 202 to 203…1 vote -

Audio routing for live audio sources
Audio routing for live audio sources (NDI, live audio/video input capture device, etc) will be good idea. Mechanism is same as audio routing of media files

Board transition and option to use existing column on board transition OR start board at 1st column
It would be nice to be able to fade between boards, but i also get a little "caught" when changing boards as it keeps the last column that was run. I'm wondering if maybe there can be a toggle setting that can be chosen to start board on 1st column when switching between boards or to remain on the last column

J'aimerais pouvoir lancer une colonne par le nom du cue en midi
ce serait bien d'avoir l'option de lancer un que par son nom en midi , présentement, il est seulement possible d'entrer le numéro de colonne. Si après coup on ajoute une colonne, je dois refaire tous mes ces midi... c'est pénible en création.

Right click menu on the dashboard
Right click isn't used very much in Millumin and would save a lot of boring setup on the dashboard. Right clicking on a clip on the dashboard should let you set its loop setting, edit (open the timeline if it is one), even colorising a single clip for better visibility (as you can with column headers), reveal in library, copy, paste.... the usual stuff.
I recently programmed a show that need 1/2 follow ons and the others all different play types. It took quite a while to to do 140 settings that would be easy with a right click.

CANEVAS PREVIEW SIZE AJUST
Allow scaling for in-canvas previews. If the resolutions are identical, the previews are the same size, but in reality the images are not necessarily the same size. This allows to have a global priview which would correspond to reality.

Linux Version of Millu Node
Says it all - at least Millu Node should be available as a Debian package working on Raspberry PIs or similar devices. Would replace the NDI player that I am currently using.

Output info over machine resources
It will be great if Millumin can show real time information on screen over graphic card resources and loads, to identify if new M1 & M2 processors will delay more than 1 frame between their outputs, as M1 & M2 are not able to sync like Nvidia or AMD. An indicator of frame delay between outputs will be great.

Master Audio Layer for Simplified Audio Output
Millumin should have the ability to designate a master audio layer in a show file so that when you're playing the same video to multiple outputs, the stereo LR of the playback computer doesn't get a doubled audio output. Alternatively, the ability to mute the audio output of an entire layer should exist, not just on a per clip basis.

audio levels in dB
In preference pane, as we can choose % for lights, we could choose dB (dBFS) as the audio unit.
It is much more appropriate for anyone who has an audio background !
