Different cue point types
pause
Jump to (meaning when the indicator hits this point it will just to another cue on the time line)
loop (meaning what ever video this cue is on it will just loop it until you hit play)

Hi. We implemented a similar system in Millumin V2. Not exactly the same, but one that aims to solve this kind of problem more widly.
See asynchrounous timelines in this tutorial —→ http://help.millumin.com/?page=01_tutorials_basics/timeline_segments#pagePart

commentedis there a forecast regarding this feature? roadmap?

Daniel Boudreau-Guay commented I dont know if its planned but, it would be nice to be able to start a clip at cue1 and then loop it from cue2 to cue3 without affecting other layers.
I know I can use the auto-follow but that would change all layers by skipping to the next scene.

commentedAlong the same lines, being able to tag media in a comp as "free-running" and allow it to ignore pause cues would accomplish the same thing (I'm not sure which would be easier to implement). Thanks!

commentedThis is the one thing keeping me from diving headfirst into millumin- allowing media to loop at cue points would be essential for timeline-based show control ala Watchout. This + 64-bit + Undo = take my money, please.
