it would be great if everybody could put a powerpoint or a PDF into into dashboard
sometimes the technicians needs to put a lot of powerpoints , keynote or pdf presentations in pharma events , would be great drop into dashboard directly and don´t need to be a lot of laptops in control table, and spend a lot of money in capture cards just for this job.

How does the presenter control the PPT from his position on stage?
Won't you always need to have a perfect cue or something like it plugged into a laptop to forward the PPT?

Hi. I have used TCP syphon and Syphon virtual screen for gettin an powerpoint to Millumin.
Have a Syphon virtual screen running on your presentation computer and then direct that to TCP syphon and receive on your Millumin computer.
Wired network is more reliable but wireless works too.Powerpoint playback is tricky because its MS-magic. Some kind of image/pdf sequence playback would be nice, I know that could be done in the composition area... anyway give this a thought.
