With an hole encoded show with "intelligent" lights (OFL), the ability to replace the fixture without loosing all the memories would be very nice.

Currently, changing an OFL fixture type makes loosing all the recorded memories for it and force us to re-enter all, this is a pain when your show have 36 cues :-)

At least, matching "dimmer", "colors" and "positions" channels beetween the current fixture and the new one would be great (the rest is fixture control and is less necessary). With an intelligent conversion beetween 8/16bits and RGBW/CMJ (fixtures don't always use same channels and same bit depth), this will make a show portability very easy.
