Boycotting Apples monopoly and abuse of the education system. I cannot support cooperating with them on anything. Will need find a different path for my students and myself.

Yes, you lost customer without Windows OS. Me for example, because I work on 3dsmax (only on Windows system) and I hate Apple policy.

Maybe launching a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter...
But, if the whole software has been based on Cocoa, it might really be a daunting task (even just estimating the required effort / time). Regarding a cross-platform UI, Qt might be an option.
The engine, OTOH, is another beast entirely, and no other APIs beats the Cocoa / OSX one, in my modest experience.
A port would be a very serious endeavor, especially when trying to retain functionality while fighting Windows or Linux platform quirks.
If only Apple sold cheaper hardware... well, at least their APIs are very structured and very powerful when it comes to media and video hardware.
Regards.

Windows version, mac is so far behind with GFX hardware (and hardware in general) we cannot use it for multimedia. You should have made it with juice or QT.....cross platform would have been easy.

It is not worth the development effort to create an entire new code base for Windows. The Mac application has too many missing items. Making a windows version would result in two half-baked products.
While I understand there are most graphics performance / output possibilities on the Windows platform, with external graphics card support over ThunderBolt 3 set to be officially supported by Apple in the fall, many of the hardware limitations will be lifted.
For example, you will be able to stick a W9100 in a TB3 enclosure and get 6x MiniDP 1.2 (4K@60) outputs.
