New keyframe mode for looped segment
I'm testing the copy media with the timeline segments and it works great when I preset keyframes in the next segment. That way I can preset a 5 count fade out to happen anytime I take the cue which is really amazing!
Now if my next segment is a loop and I want to create a fade in, I don't have a way to do that without repeating the fade-in at the beginning of the loop so it'd be great to have a new kind of keyframe mode: play once on loops so they're ignored when the loop plays again.
6 votesHi. This is now in Millumin V2 : there is a “intro” setting for lopping segments.

Hi. With new OSC API of Millumin V2, you can directly use names (of columns, of layers, …).

Make "Launch Previous Column" Mapable
Just like mapping the "Next" Button I would like an option to map a "Previous Button"
119 votesThis is now possible in latest beta (so outside the “official” channel, but it will be soon).
Just create an interaction on the “launch next column” button, then use the option “previous” to launch the previous column instead.More info : http://blog.anomes.com/post/155759980147/new-features-for-lights-electronics-monitor

Add the possibility to minimize / maximize the Data Track ( and Canvas, Light, Stage ) in the Dash board
As we can minimize / maximize the Layer / Mapping / Effects / Masks menus, it could be very useful to be able to do the same thing in the Dashboard, to stay focus on what we are doing (and save space).
2 votesHI. Available : click on the “search” field, then click on the triangle icon to change the filter options.

To be able to go inside a timeline from the Dashboard
To be able to go inside a timeline from the Dashboard (by double clicking). It should be more efficient than looking for it in the Library.

"Pause Cue" or "go to" Cue Point in the Dashboard
.. not only start and end Cue
8 votesHi. We redesigned timelines in Millumin V2, to handle such cases more easily. Especially, we introduced a new concept called “segments”.

Deselect layers
Hi,
congrats for your great SW.
It would be great if there were a DESELECT ALL LAYERS functionality, in order to make easier to move full canvas to up/down/right/left, or to focus a specific area, without moving a specific layers. Thanks!1 voteIn Millumin V2, it is easy to move around, zoom in/out, … in the workspace : just use the small button on the bottom-right corner of the view.

Create Composition option to include media from current column on selected layers and replace instance on dashboard
Basically, it could function like pre-comping in After Effects. You select the layers you want, make sure the right column is active, and it creates a comp with the media from those layers. It could then optionally place the new comp in place of one of those media clips.
This way, when you realize that you need to compose media that is on your dashboard already, you select it and then choose "Create Composition...", rather than having to make a new comp, place the media in it, then place the Comp on the dashboard.
This command would leave the rest…

Layer Freeze
Hello, it would be great to have the option to freeze any layer and the click of a button, or highlight the layer and hit F to freeze. Layer remains frozen until it is released by highlighting and hitting F or clicking unfreeze.
Thank You
1 voteIn Millumin V2, you can freeze outputs to be able to work on something else (for example on chnaging a timeline).

Easier access to Transition settings
When timing a show and setting Transitions it would be much more efficient if we didn't have to click on effects button every time to access the transition settings. It would be nice to move the transition settings out from under the effects settings so they are directly accessible.
2 votesHi. We redesigned transitions in Millumin V2, so you can easily define them by column, or even by layer/column.

symbols for once (freeze), once (black), auto follow in the "time window" or small symbol in the board inside the thumbnail.
it would be good to see the playback type in every cue/clip/row for every file or see it in the time-window. at this time (version 1.56) i just have a symbol for loop. A symbol for once (freeze) could be an arrow with a pause symbol " → ll "
a symbol for once (stop) could be an arrow standard stop sign " → ◼ "auto follow " → → " like this maybe?!
it would be great to also see those signs inside the board thumbnails.

Is there a way to hotkey select the 4 c orners when mapping? - (for example TAB or SHIFT+TAB).
Hi there, I use a wireless PS3 controller or iPad when lining up mapping points for my projector, so that i dont have to be near the laptop.
I was wondering if there was a way to toggle through the corner map points, so that the next one is selected and that can then be moved?
Currently, I have to use the PS3 controller as a mouse, but if the corner point is off screen, then it is tricky to click on.
TABBING or SHIFT+TABBING would get around this, and make mapping away from control a lot easier.
Best

leave media running
My Idea (hopefully other votes too!) I would like a first column, or a row above to be able to put a media clip into and leave it running
3 votesHi. You can do it by editing the board :
- use a “continue” with Millumin V1
- or extend you media accross columns in Millumin V2 -

Copy and paste, select and drag, a column or group of columns
In simple form duplicate a column.
Nicer would be:
Pick a bunch of columns, copy them and paste them elsewhere in the timeline or drag them to a new location. Excel does this in a way people are used to.Sequences that are built over several columns can be reused without having to be rebuilt.
This idea is similar to or encompasses the following ideas:
More user friendly Column area (14 votes)
Work with columns (2 votes)
Duplicate column (3 votes)I bet you are already working on this in the "New timelines" work in progress.
64 votesColumn can be rearranged by drag-and-drop in latest beta (so outside the “official” channel, but it will be soon).
It is also possible to duplicate a column (click the “gear” icon while editing the board).More info : http://blog.anomes.com/post/155759980147/new-features-for-lights-electronics-monitor

Option to make layers only visible in desktop but not in output
Enable an option to make layers visible only in the interface but not in the final output. To have cue keys or messages about next media coming, or simply just notes
16 votesHi. With Millumin V2 you can create several separate outputs : so you can put content only visible to operators.
