GO TO... loop mode
Good day! In the tab "Current media" in the selection of the Loop mode could be added in addition to Infinity, Auto-follow, once (freeze), once (stop) and GO TO.... (number of column). This would allow to move to the desired column, and repeat some clips if necessary
112 votesHello. The latest beta features an “autogo program” to do so (in a generic manner).

Thumbnails on timelines
It would be really user-friendly to have Thumbnails on timelines. It can be hard to remember what the specific timeline contains. Therefore, it would be easy and fast to see what the timeline contains with a picture.
Reading a text or note can often be time consuming.7 votesAvailable in latest V2+ beta.

Support video capture card with multiple SDI inputs like AJA io4K
It will be nice to have the program support multi channel SDI capture card like AJA io4K. Right now it works with a blackmagic Mini Recorder, but that only has one channel.
15 votesMillumin supports Blackmagic cards that have multiple inputs (Decklink Duo 2 for example).
It also supports other cards (with multiple inputs) as far as their drivers are correctly supported on macOS.Please contact our email support if you think you found a bug (contact@millumin.com).

Hi.
You can do so in Preferences / Show or hide toolbar. -
GUI Icon display of Loop Mode setting of clip.
This is a very simple request. It would be good to see what loop mode a clip is set to on the dashboard.
I recently ran an awards show that didn't need any timelines, just clips on the dashboard. For quite a few cues I had the playback set to auto follow - but when running the rehearsal I found a few I hadn't set properly. Not a major but on another show I had the same 'problem' but could check without fear of clicking off a cue as the show had started.
This could have been easily spotted if…16 votes -
Interpret UDP commands as OSC
Given that some systems we may with the trigger Millumin with only support sending UDP commands, allow for Millumin to receive simple strings via UDP and interpret these messages as OSC.
The behavior can be observed in Qlab. A string command sent over UDP to Qlab will be interpreted as an OSC message.
The behavior is described in this help document:

More comprehensive time panel
I’d love to see countdown and elapsed time at the same time. Additional features could include a button to go to last 30 seconds, 20 seconds, 10 seconds.
It could also indicate whether the clip will freeze/loop/autofollow. I know this is in the other panel, but I am fearful of selecting the clip during the show to confirm that things are playing correctly and restarting the clip.

Make it easy to Relink video files when moving the program.
I regularly use 100 to 200 discreet clips in a file then need to move the file to another machine for a running backup. Relinking up to 200 files, one at a time, is nuts. It would be great if I could point the program to the directory where the files are located and have the program find the rest of the files instead of linking every file, one by one.
5 votesThe easiest way to move a project from one computer to another one, is to use the “Collect files” feature.
Also, if Millumin does not find a file, it will look for it in subfolders of the project.
Lastly, if you relink one file, Millumin will look for other missing files in this folder. If it found some, it will ask you to relink them as well.

Layer Alignment Tools
Additional controls of layer alignment relative to either the canvas or other selected layers (need to be able to select multiple layers).
Much like in many popular layout-oriented programs, like Keynote or PowerPoint or even Spyder X20 control.
For horizontal/vertical alignment relative to other layers:
- Align centers
- Align Bottoms
- Align Tops
- Align Left
- Align Right
- Align MiddleFor canvas-to-layer alignment, these additional options:
- Center X
- Center Y
- Fill Height
- Fill Width82 votesHi. Such options are now available in latest beta.
The snapping is also largely improved, as well as new options to set the origin of the workspace and the anchor of the layers.More info : http://millum.in/beta

Add PTZ Camera Protocol
Add the ability to control PTZ Camera.
That could be useful to be able to use camera's position/focus/zoom presets in timeline/dashboard, and to create smooth movements with curves.
Here is a link about this protocol https://www.reddit.com/r/crestron/comments/4gfuhn/panasonic_ptz_camera_control_protocol/

Transmit hex codes in data track
Add the ability to send hex codes (ascii range 0 to 255 / 0x00 to 0xFF) from the data track section to allow controlling devices that require more than just printable strings.

MIDI learning and editing improvements
It seems that Millimumin reacts to MIDI Sysex or NRPN used by Yamaha Studio Manager. A way to filter the MIDI input by type (notes, CC...) and channel would be nice.
Once an assignation is set, it may be useful to be able to change the MIDI type (from CC to note or whatever).
Currently a MIDI note-controlled pause reacts to notes on (pause) and notes off (resume play), and it wasn't the case in some previous version. I had to change the MIDI programmation in a show. A way to choose this in the MIDI interactions would be nice.3 votesWe fixed this in latest beta (so outside the “official” channel, but it will be soon).
More info : http://blog.anomes.com/post/155759980147/new-features-for-lights-electronics-monitorWe also hope to add soon an option to change MIDI message for interactions.
