  1. Depending on if ML is running on an install or if you've hit the last cue of an event and you want to make sure that you don't bump a key, being able to lock the software would be handy.

  3. when several timelines are opened, it becomes uneasy to access a specific one. it would be great to give access to a pop-up list of the opened timelines (such as the dashboard's list).

  5. I get a lot of Films, where the loudness of each film is different.
Normally i use shutter encoder to make all movies with the same loudness.
It would be nice if millumin to this :-)

  6. Just like the mouse wheel is used to zoom in and out in a canvas (mimicking the zoom tool available in the bottom right corner), clicking and dragging in the canvas window using the middle mouse button could move around (mimicking the move tool available in the bottom right corner).

  8. In live events, speeding up or slowing down media clips is quite common.

In at least Millumin 4, a 10s media clip slowed down by 50% will produce a TRT that also slows down by 50% (1s on the countdown will last 2s).

This speed factor is also not reported in the OSC /millumin/layer:name/media/time report. It should be reported.

  10. When using NDI Media with render audio enabled it would be nice to get audio routing possibilites. I dont know if I am missing it? But it doesnt seem to appear right now. Also - the vumeter you have at http://help.millumin.com/?page=03_faq/beta#pagePart under Send audio via NDI doesnt seem to appear.

    All the best! /Jesper Berger

  11. With an hole encoded show with "intelligent" lights (OFL), the ability to replace the fixture without loosing all the memories would be very nice.

Currently, changing an OFL fixture type makes loosing all the recorded memories for it and force us to re-enter all, this is a pain when your show have 36 cues :-)

At least, matching "dimmer", "colors" and "positions" channels beetween the current fixture and the new one would be great (the rest is fixture control and is less necessary). With an intelligent conversion beetween 8/16bits and RGBW/CMJ (fixtures don't always use same channels and same bit…

  13. more often than not, the corner adjustments alone in the blending settings are not enough; the edge can overlap perfectly but the inner lines stay adrift.
having further divisions will help with perfect alignment throughout the blend area

  17. Would love a hot key to turn the output display on & off.

I did a show last week where i was mainly the Keynote operator, but also did Millumin backup for a couple sequences form the same computer.

Millumin takes over the output display It takes a couple clicks to get into the "disable screen output" control and a couple clicks to get out of it and back to Keynote. Would love just a hot key or a keyboard command to toggle that external screen control on & off

  18. I would like to send a UDP extremely low latency multicast stream output to send to multiple PI's and it would be great if you could output direct to ffmpeg. Currently I have to send to OBS via NDI and then 'record' a feed.
That said this system works but relies on OBS for no reason other than to pass the signal and seems to crash irregularly.
This feature would also add RTMP or other streaming platform support direct from Millumin.

  19. It would be useful to add the ability to momentarily disable Data Tracks, like in this mock-up with the eye.

  20. Tried to put a white border on video pips over a wide background and discovered the borders don’t transition with the cue change. They wait until the end and snap off. Took them off because it looked weird. Want borders to respond to transitions the same as the content.
